Components
We have in house libraries of over 1000 standard components (schematic symbols, PCB footprints and Autodesk Inventor 3D models) for use in safety critical and non critical applications: Our standard component ranges cover:
- 30+ Different MCU’s consisting of Microchip PIC18, dsPIC33, PIC32’s, TI Safety CPU’s, TI Sitara, TI MSP432, etc;
- 20+ Xilinx and Altera CPLD’s and Xilinx FPGA’s including Virtex-4, Virtex-5, Spartan-6, Artix-7;
- 100+ sensor interfaces including pressure, temperature, acceleration, length, angle, position, IR;
- 10+ wireless modules including BT/BTLE, 802.15.4;
- Large range of connectors from FMC, High speed serial interfaces, FPC, Molex and TE sealed connectors for harsh environments, Circular connectors for industrial networking;
Rapid Prototyping
We offer a rapid prototyping service for customers wishing to rapidly validate ideas. We use mixtures of existing development boards, pod’s, etc. combined with custom PCB’s including in-house milled and etched prototypes.
We also offer in house assembly services, manufactured on our own Pick and Place robot;
Verification and Validation
We offer PCB verification and validation as an extension to existing projects, or as a third party consultant. Our V & V services include:
- Single and dual channel designs verification to meet required hardware safety specifications;
- Simulation and 3D modelling of complete assemblies or individual components/modules (electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic);
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) bring up including testing as per system integration test plans and FMEDA;
- Verification of component de-rating via stress testing with in-house facilities to -20° and +150°;
- Safety case documentation, including hardware safety life cycle documentation, hardware specification, and reports with trace-ability;
